Our Story

The idea for Illyrian Revival started when when a friend from Albania visited. He was amazed by our large local Christian store, as there aren't Christian stores in his primarily Muslim country. He asked if I could make some of the Scripture-based decor I had in my home in his language. He wanted to create an opportunity for his friends and family to read scripture and spark conversations about the gospel. From there, the Lord gave me the desire to produce and distribute Christian resources in unreached places.

The name Illyrian Revival is inspired by the Roman province Illyricum, which Paul visited while spreading the gospel and establishing the early church. This region, covering much of today’s Balkan Peninsula, has deep Christian roots, though it is now predominantly Muslim. Many of these countries are considered unreached. This means less than 2% of the population is evangelical Christian and a majority of the population will never have the opportunity to hear the gospel. Yet, a revival is stirring in Illyria, and we want to provide tools to fan the flames of this revival!

Our focus is to glorify God by providing resources that equip Christians in these areas to share the good news of the gospel, lead them into a deeper relationship with Christ, and encourage boldness in proclaiming their faith!

Our Mission

Illyrian Revival exists to equip Christians in unreached areas by providing affordable gospel resources. We are dedicated to supporting the spiritual growth, boldness, and discipleship of Christians in regions where access to the gospel is scarce, facilitating the distribution of tools and materials that foster faith and hope in Jesus Christ.

Our Vision

We envision a global movement of revival, where individuals in unreached regions and groups have access to resources that help them grow in their faith and proclaim the gospel. Our goal is to see bold, transformative discipleship, empowering believers to share the good news and disciple others in their communities across the world.

What We Believe

We believe in God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit - the Holy Trinity living as one. The Bible is the word of God - living, active, and inerrant in revealing Who God is. It is through His words that we know God's character, our own hopelessly sinful nature, and His plans for our salvation.

Throughout the Bible we see the gospel laid out, God's plan for our reconciliation to Him. Jesus left His throne in Heaven to become sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). This means Jesus, though perfect and righteous, bore our sins on the cross, taking on our debt and receiving God's wrath for our disobedience. We in turn receive His righteousness, reconciling us to God. He was the One final sacrifice, satisfying the wrath of God and tearing the veil that separated us from the Holy and Just God.

The gospel is a free gift that is accepted through faith in Jesus. When we place our faith in Christ, we receive the Holy Spirit, God dwelling in us. The act of faith is not simply believing that a man name Jesus lived, but believing that the God of the Universe gave His life to save ours and to have a relationship with us. Putting your faith in Jesus is believing this: I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20). And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:8-10).

Now, with the Spirit at work in believers, we are able to turn from our sin and be sanctified. We do not go back to living exactly as before. We are a new creation in Christ, repenting from our sins, imitating Christ, and carrying out his commands. In loving adoration, respect, and gratitude we give our lives to proclaiming the gospel and glorifying God.

Romans 1:16-17

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”
